The first was a trip to Lincoln. This was mainly with the intention of attending the 'Judy Vintage Fair' at 'The Engine Shed' Lincoln. Due to clashes with previous dates, I have been unable to attend these fairs for quite a while. It was very cold but deceptively sunny. I wore my high waist jeans, my glitter shoes, a Judy Garland t-shirt and a red and white varsity jacket. The Jeans are from Primark, The shoes and varsity jacket are from the website 'Everything 5 pounds'.https://www.everything5pounds.com/en/ I love this site and have ordered many items. The delivery service is quick and the quality and range are great.
Did you see my recent blog on the 'Snow Owl' wig? https://carryonovertherhinestonerainbow.blogspot.co.uk/2017/01/keep-your-hair-on-lushwigs-wigs-hair.html
Well I decided I really did want another wig and so purchased another wig from Lush Wigs. This time it was the 'Dusty Rose'.

A choppy little bob that has been curled at the ends to give plenty of movement. The back falls slightly longer than the front as the curls there are looser, but the wig is around shoulder length overall. A super sweet pastel blonde colour with a heavy blunt fringe – it’s adorable!

I even got complemented on my hair when I was purchasing some items from 'Lush' cosmetics!! https://uk.lush.com/
See, a wig from Lush and shopping in Lush. More 'L's!!
Do you remember my SpecSavers post? https://carryonovertherhinestonerainbow.blogspot.co.uk/2017/02/heres-looking-at-you-kid-specsavers.html Well, I got my glasses. Here I am wearing the Cats Eyes ones, Pearl. What do you think?
We were very naughty and stopped at Damons on both the Saturday and the Sunday! Their breakfast is such good value and sets you up for the whole day. The special edition with eggs, sausages, bacon, herb potatoes, beans, toast, juice and coffee for £6.95.
The Vintage fair was enjoyable. A good mix of male and female clothes and other accessories. I was taken with a few items but nothing that caught my eye in my size or price range.
There are often the same stalls at the vintage fairs, in the same area so it is nice to see some new stalls.
After the fair Pirate Mick and I went into Lincoln for a drink. Due to Lincoln football team playing a big match, everywhere was full. Luckily we managed to squeeze onto a table and have a much needed rest. It was so sunny I wore my prescription sunglasses, again from Specsavers. I really like the look of them. Really pleased.

After the drink we wandered into Lincoln and walked to 'Ruddocks' http://www.ruddocksoflincoln.co.uk/store/
I love this store as it reminds me of a time gone by. I adore stationary and love all the different pencils and pens!! There is also a coffee shop inside which I have yet to sample.
A friend is painting a Knight in the shop window! This is part of the Lincoln Knights trail, similar to the Barons trail. There will be 35 Knights to represent the two main figures of the 1217 Battle of Lincoln. The Battle of Lincoln was a culmination of King John's rebellion against the Magna Carta.
In November 1217 a companion charter was sealed, re-establishing rights of access to royal forests for free men: The Charter of the Forest.
After the event the sculptures will be sold.

This Knight is looking good, as is his horse! So much talent is needed to bring these sculptures to life. Must put the Knight trail in my diary as can not wait to see the finished sculptures.
We fell upon another vintage fair at the Indoor market. There were a few stalls outside and some inside. The outside stalls reminded me of the ones in France. There was a great mix of stalls, although the inside ones were very cramped. This was a shame as it look as if a lot of thought and care had gone into the stalls but if somebody was in front of you the there was hardly any chance of seeing anything.
We stopped at 'Lakeland' before heading to the car. (another L!!) http://www.lakeland.co.uk/
I purchased a Eco Egg to use with my laundry. I am keen to try it out and see if it does work.It was then time to head home. I remembered to take a photo of my Judy T-shirt. This was purchased for me as a present and I think it was from Amazon. Can not wait for the weather to warm so I can wear it more!
Well a few 'L's to be going on with! Lincoln, Lush, Lush Wigs, Lakeland!!
Lovely!!
